Day Two of the New York Rangers Training Camp saw the guys continuing on their grueling conditioning program. Standing out from the crowd was Brandon Dubinsky, Ryan McDonagh, Dan Girardi, Sean Avery and Wojtek Wolski.
Returning to the team today were Artem Anisimov, Marian Gaborik and Michael Sauer. According to a report on the Blueshirts United page-the player to watch out for thus far is Michael Del Zotto, who is putting his best foot forward.
Del Zotto is battling it out for two spots on the Blueshirts blue line, along with Pavel Valenteko, Tim Erixon and Brendan Bell.
Last season Michael recorded only 11 points in 47 games with the Rangers last year, looks to regain his form from the ‘09-’10 seasons where he was able to register 37 points as a 19 year-old rookie.
Should be interesting to see what happens, especially after Erixon impressed many with his performance at the Traverse City Tournament.
