Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins sign Jack Duff

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins singed defender Jack Duff to an amateur tryout agreement.

The defender, who stands at six-foot-three, spent the last three years on the Erie Otters blueline. The Otters play in the Ontario Hockey League. Duff during his time with the Otters recorded four goals, 14 assists, 18 points and a career-best plus-18 rating in his 63 games played.

Duff also has some AHL experience as well, playing in 194 games. Duff who is 21-years-old, hails from Kingston, Ontario has been able to record 49 total points and 193 penalty minutes.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will begin the American Hockey League Season on Monday, February 9 against the Binghamton Devils at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, with the action set for 5:00 p.m.
