The Bridgeport Sound Tigers will continue their American Hockey League Season with a 1:00 p.m. contest against the Hartford Wolf Pack at the XL Center on Sunday (today).
The Sound Tigers (0-1-0) will look to rebound from a loss against the Providence Bruins in the season Opener on Friday. The Game for Hartford will be their first, and will be a great test to see what the team will look like as the AHL season progresses.
This marks the first of 12 games between Bridgeport and Hartford, and the first of six games played at the XL Center. The Wolf Pack were able to win their last head-to-head meeting on Feb 29, 2020, which was led by Hartford Tim Gettinger’s two goals.
Bridgeport were able to see their first player scoring a goal in Bobo Carpenter. For Carpenter he is hoping to improve on his performance for the team last season, where he was able to record four goals in 28 games last season.
The Sound Tigers were able to see the debut of stars Kyle MacLean, Brett Neumann, Felix Bibeau and Samuel Bolduc shined in the game on Friday.
