With a great mix of local talent and future stars from overseas New Legend Boxing Presents ‘International Fight Night’ delivered on some great action.
Everyone on the card put a full effort into the night and it showed, as the awesome crowd at Resorts World Casino in Jamaica, NY was rocking for most of the night.
Bronx-native Mike Marshall earned his first KO in his debut at the Cruiserweight division, gong four rounds with Rochester-Native Ralph Johnson.
Mikkel LesPierre, who is from Brooklyn kept his undefeated streak alive (8-0-1) with his unanimous decision over Justin Johnson.
There were two thrilling ladies bouts, as Brooklyn-native Keisher McLeod went to an 8-2 record over a very tough Patricia Alcivar who hails from Queens. With the victory McLeod became the new New York State Female Flyweight Champion.
In a hard hitting Middleweight Bout Alicia Napoleon who hails from Lindenhurst earned her Second Victory over Melinda Lazar.
Rounding out the New York products Lynbrook-native Will Rosinsky (19-2) earned a Light Heavyweight victory over Dion Savage.
The night lived up to the ‘International’ billing as there were fighters from Hungary (Melinda Lazar), Spain (Jonathan Alonso-was in the 2012 Olympics), and Puerto Rico (Ken Alvarez)
