No 4 Louisville hold off Indiana in Jimmy V Classic Finale

The No. 4 Louisville Men’s Basketball team (8-0) held off a very competitive Indiana team (7-2) to earn a 94-74 thriller in the Jimmy V Classic held at Madison Square Garden.

With electricity crackling due to the 11,617 in attendance both teams thrilled (much like the first game) providing many top plays for the folks at ESPN to chose from for their Top 10 list.

The Cardinals had four players in double-figure scoring, with three of them finishing with over 20 points in the victory.

Leading the way for Louisville was Sophomore Guard Terry Rozier (Youngstown, Ohio) who scored a career-high 26 points while also grabbing six rebounds.

Junior Forward Montrezl Harrell (Tarboro, N.C) had a double-double with 21 points and 11 boards, while also becoming the all-time dunks leader for Louisville. Senior Chris Jones (Memphis, Tenn.) finished the night with a career-high 24 points, and had nine rebounds and six assists.

Indiana did not go down without a fight, as they had four players finish with double-digit scoring. James Blackmon Jr. led the Hoosiers with 18 points and Yogi Ferrell finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
