Five months into the tryout process, Team USA head coach Richie Meade has announced the 30-man roster for the 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championship taking place in Denver, Colorado this July. With seven active players named to the roster, the Lizards are tied with the defending Major League Lacrosse champion Chesapeake Bayhawks for the most active players to make the cut.
From the Lizards, Drew Adams (goal), Ned Crotty (attack/midfield), Kyle Hartzell (LSM), Brian Karalunas (defense), JoJo Marasco (midfield), Rob Pannell (attack), and Max Seibald (midfield) have all been named to the Team USA 30-man roster. In addition to the seven current members of the Lizard’s roster, New York’s third overall draft pick in the 2014 Collegiate Draft, Joe Fletcher, has also been named to the roster.
