Islanders v Flames 2/6/14

Evgeni Nabokov posted his second shutout of the season, as the Islanders held on for a 1-0 win over the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night at Verizon Center. Nabokov made 22 saves and Andrew MacDonald scored the game-winner2:16 into the third period.
TONIGHT’S MATCHUP
The Islanders and Flames meet for the first time since 2011 tonight, kicking off their two-game season series. It will be the first game between the teams since a 3-1 Islanders win at the Coliseum on December 29, 2011. The Isles are 5-1-0 in their last six games against Calgary.
