The New York Rangers will celebrate 20-year tradition this season with their annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Collaborating with the United States Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program, the New York Rangers will collect toys for needy children in the tri-state area.
On Tuesday, December 3rd, the Rangers will host their annual Toy collection at MSG in the South Plaza from 5-7pm. Rangers’ legends Adam Graves will be joined by several new Rangers players such as Derek Dorsett and John Moore*, to sign autographs for fans as they donate toys to this worthy cause.
Fans must bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots for entry to the event, and in exchange will receive an autograph from a Rangers player.
In addition to the toy collection, fans that donate will have an opportunity to participate in various Rangers activities including hockey skills station, face painting, trivia with prizes, Santa and more!
The South Plaza is outdoors and is located on Seventh Avenue between 31st and 33rd Streets (in front of Chase Bank).
The annual Toys for Tots drive has such an impact on the tri-state area, as well as the Rangers organization; because it allows the Rangers organization and the fans to join forces and give back to the community, impacting the lives of children.
In the last five years almost 9,000 toys have been donated to children in need thanks to the organization’s dedicated and compassionate fans.
All fans are encouraged to come out and support the New York Rangers and the US Marines Corps in this annual tradition! Bundle up and help a worthy cause by donating toys for children in need.
