Here are some notes for those fans getting ready to watch the New York Knicks (44-26) play host to the Charlotte Bobcats (17-54) in NBA action at Madison Square Garden.

This will be the second of three-games at home for the Knicks, while it also being the second of three meetings between the Knicks and the Bobcats. New York is looking to extend a four-game winning streak against the Bobcats.

Carmelo Anthony posted 23 points and three rebounds in the first meeting, while Tyson Chandler recorded 18 points and 17 rebounds in one game against the Bobcats.

Speaking of Melo:

Anthony recorded 22 points and a team-high seven rebounds in over 40 minutes in the March 27th victory against Memphis. Carmelo has led the team in rebounds 15 times this season. This was his 50th time reaching the 20-point mark.

Super Smith:

JR Smith posted a team-high 35 points on 10-for-18 shooting and a team-high seven rebounds in over 42 minutes in that March 27 victory. This is Smith’s four time reaching the 30-point mark and his 24th time this season reaching the 20-point mark.

1994: The Knicks complete the first undefeated month in franchise history (14-0) with a 106-95 victory over Charlotte at Madison Square Garden. Charles Oakley leads the way with 22 points and 17 rebounds.

The Knicks and Charlotte game is set to air on the MSG Network, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
