Here are some notes for those fans watching the New York Rangers (0-2-0) take on the undefeated Boston Bruins in NHL action on Wednesday. This will be the second of four meetings between the rivals.
Thus far the Blueshirts have not gotten off to the start they have wanted, allowing nine goals over the course of two games.
Meanwhile, for the Bruins Tuukka Rask has shown that he has the capabilities of being the number one keeper for Boston. Thus far the offense has been spread out as nine players are tied for the team in points with one.
Even though the Blueshirts have a ton of offensive threats, none of them have been able to break out yet. Thus far the lone sniper is Brad Richards. Expect for an eventual breakout game from Rick Nash, Ryan Callahan and the resident energizer bunny Chris Kreider.
The Rangers and Bruins are set to skate on the NBC network, with face-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
