Recap of the C.M. Punk/Mick Foley confrontation from last episode.
Punk says that Mick is a coward, due to the fact that the legend muttered something under his breath instead of saying whatever the thought was out loud. The champ feels disrespected and taught Mick a lesson.
The Champ announces that his stance against not facing John Cena at Hell in the Cell, stay tuned for this one.
Heyman says that he should be the GM before Vickie Guerrero comes out to stake her claim as the head of the Flagship brand.
Guerrero and Heyman are getting into it. Dolph Ziggler says that Vickie and Heyman should team up and be Co-General Managers before AJ Lee comes out.
Lee announces that she is on probation, and has been appointed an executive coach to help her as GM of Raw. Daniel Bryan comes out and says that he just wanted to apologize, the fact that he dumped her is the fact that the Diva now has mental problems.
Kane comes out and all arguing breaks out before AJ Lee makes a tag match as Punk and Ziggler take on Kane and Bryan later on tonight.
Also on the table will be a World Championship debate between Sheamus and The Big Show as well as a tournament to determine the Number One Contenders for the Tag Team Championship.
Before things can get really interesting The Prime Time players come out to watch the action.
Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio def. Primo in Epico:
Mysterio and Sin Cara advance to the next round of the Tag Tournament, stay tuned as this fan feels that the duo will take on the newly formed Rhodes Scholars in the finals for the Gold.
Antonio Cesaro def. Brodus Clay:
In what was a very quick bout Cesaro was able to hit the Neutralizer on the big man. This really didn’t do anything to build a story for Cesaro who is in need of a good feud.
AJ Lee in the back talking to Kaitlyn, at first apologizes to her former best friend before cracking up saying that she is in fact not sorry and walks away.
The Miz def. Zack Ryder:
Not much happening here either as this was a very quick bout between these two men. Instead of putting down a bunch of the guys the WWE should be building up Ryder with a good match.
The World Heavyweight Championship debate is going to happen now on Raw
The Big Show stated that at Hell in the Cell he will hit the WMD against Sheamus and that will be the end of the story.
Got to love the fact that Sheamus took a page out of Mick Foley’s book with that plug of Oklahoma City.
Things are getting to where the debate is more of a joke, where The Big Show is being made fun of the whole time. The duo stare each other down, before the Giant leaves the ring.
Ryback def. Tensai:
Ryback was unable to lift Tensai for his finishing move a couple of times, so the young lion had to improvised. Tried to make up for things, but the fans were unhappy with things.
Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in the back talking about how they are going to elevate the company once they win the Tag Team Champions. Stay tuned!
Eve vs. Beth Phoenix:
Eve is continuing her manipulative reign over the women’s division, everyone thinks that the Diva is being nice but she is just playing head games with everyone.
Heath Slater vs. Santino: Disqualification causes for the heel trio attack on Santino
Slater has now joined forces with Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre to form a new stable in the WWE
Sheamus def. Damien Sandow:
This one bout put Sandow on the map and made him an instant contender for a title within the WWE.
For whatever reason as of late the second hour of Raw is much more exciting and action packed versus the first. This bout between Sheamus and Sandow is telling a great story.
Cody Rhodes kept trying to interfere to help his partner, but a double brogue kick helped Sheamus to defeat a very game Sandow.
JR Appreciation Night is happening now as the company is taking time out to honor one of the legendary voices in the company in his hometown
Before anything can happen out comes C.M. Punk and Paul Heyman
Punk to JR you are the best announcer we have and I and the members of the WWE Universe respect you. No one respects the champ though.
Things are building up to a Stone Cold/C.M. Punk encounter-stay tuned
JR to Punk Stone Cold and others have earned the right to be called The Best in the World. Until Punk takes the Challenge of taking on John Cena in Hell in the Cell and beats him, there is nothing to talk about.
Punk I’ve never run from a fight ever, but you should JR because I am about to knock you into next week. Just at the top of the Champ humiliating the HOF announcer, Ryback comes out to help out the legend.
Punk is backing down from Ryback leaves the ring screaming-Best in the World while showing the WWE Championship.
Alberto Del Rio def. Kofi Kingston via the cross arm breaker:
It is a shame that the company didn’t allow for these two young lions to go at it more and tell a story. That would have made for an interesting bout.
Daniel Bryan and Kane def. CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler:
Acting as special guest ref is Raw GM AJ Lee, who is going to try to bury her personal relationships and thus making her a better GM for the Flagship Brand.
During the course of the bout, Vickie and Heyman were tossed by AJ as the managers tried to ruin the Main Event.
Really interesting Main Event, as the chemistry between Kane and Bryan has really sparked an interest in tag team wrestling again.
This bout really helped build up the duo, while also maybe planting the seeds for a future feud between Dolph and Punk.
Raw ends with Bryan and Kane continuing with their arguing, as the duo will continue with this storyline for a while.
Thanks to those who checked in and as always stay tuned!
