Alberto Del Rio in the ring stating his case as to why the Brogue Kick from Sheamus is so dangerous. Brings in Christian via satellite to help his cause.
Daniel Bryan comes out to add his voice to the cause, will have a WrestleMania rematch against the Celtic Warrior tonight.
Sheamus comes out and says that Daniel Bryan didn’t lose because of the finishing move but because the champ is just better. States that those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
Sin Cara def. The Miz: The masked wonder was able to pin the IC Champ via a small package. This was a really interesting bout, unsure if there were some moments that were uncoordinated, or just if the skill set of Sin Cara really does leave you off balance.
The WWE has not announced who The Miz will defend his strap at the Night of Champions pay-per-view. The smart thing to do is continue this feud between these two stars and see where it leads. This fan is very interested in seeing what these two can do.
The Miz is in the back and being interviewed by Matt Striker. Cody Rhodes interrupts the interview to challenge for the Championship at the pay-per-view.
Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara also stake their claim for the IC strap for Night of Champions. It was announced by Teddy Long that it will be a Fatal Four Way bout featuring Miz, Cody Rhodes, Mysterio and Sin Cara for the IC Championship.
Video recap of Daniel Bryan and Kane’s Anger Management Classes, stay tuned as this very strange tag team is set to challenge for the championships on Sunday.
The sessions continue as Kane and Bryan are in the back trying to work with stress balls, the duo start to argue over becoming champions.
Kane vs. Kofi Kingston after the commercial break
Kane def. Kingston: Kofi wearing is Superman inspired trunks tonight:
If the WWE were smart they’d give the Tag Titles to the Big Red Monster and D-Bry it is good for business and gives a reason to the storyline of Anger Management.
After the bout Kane gives a hug to Kingston before exiting the ring.
Randy Orton in the back doing an intense interview giving Matt Striker reasons why he may become World Heavyweight Champion.
Orton def. Tensai:
No surprise that the Viper was able to earn the victory on this night. Orton has been on a major role as of late. It will be interesting to see what happens between Randy and Dolph Ziggler and how the feud between these two young lions continue.
This fan is hopeful to see the two challenge each other for the World Heavyweight Championship very soon.
Antonio Cesaro heel promo saying how he is insulted how a battle royal will determine a number one contender for his strap at Night of Champions.
Tyson Kidd interrupts the champ saying that he will take the strap to only get knocked out of the ring. Brodus Clay is the next to challenge the former Rugby star.
Clay and Kidd work together to spell Cesaro from the ring. This fan would be very interested to see the duo as a tag team, as they seem to work well, and make for an interesting mix-stay tuned.
Wade Barrett comes out to cut a promo, the young heel made his return to the company last week. Next week one lucky person will get to lose to the star before business starts to boom.
Kaitlyn def. Beth Phoenix:
No surprise to see the young lioness get the victory, as the company has really pushed Kaitlyn as the future of the women’s division.
This fan is starting to see something on the horizon though, as Eve is starting to slowly creep her way back to the Divas Championship. As always stay tuned!
Raw video recap of the John Cena/C.M. Punk feud.
Eve in the back with Booker T, who heaps praise on the Diva for her good work. Teddy Long tries to do the same but has a disagreement on what type of handshake to give the SmackDown GM.
Sheamus def. Daniel Bryan via submission:
Nice to see the WWE take Sheamus to the next level with the Texas cloverleaf. Adding another finishing move not only makes the Celtic Warrior more versatile, but more interesting for fans to watch in the ring.
That is a wrap for this edition of the 1495 Sports Live WWE Updates, as always stay tuned!
