The New York Islanders held their third annual Islanders Children’s Foundation Day at Adventureland on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Farmingdale, N.Y. today. Fans of the team who bought bracelets to the event, not only had unlimited access to the players-but also the amazing rides at the Adventureland Theme Park.
Fans were able to meet-and-greet the players on the squad, who were stationed throughout the amusement park. After getting the thrill of meeting their favorite players, children of all ages were able to enjoy the rides and the games.
Even the guys got into the action of catching the rides, as forward Matt Martin hoped on the Music Express; as well as the Hurricane roller coaster and the Frisbee.
