New York Liberty Individual Game Tickets Go On Sale 4/1/13

New York Liberty individual game tickets go on sale on Tuesday, April 1 at 10:00 a.m. Ticket prices start at $15 and can be purchased at the Madison Square Garden Box Office, online atNYLiberty.com, through the WNBA Ticketmaster charge-by-phone number 877-WNBA-TIX, all Ticketmaster outlets and Ticketmaster.com.

The Liberty will make its long-awaited return to the completely transformed Madison Square Garden when it hosts the Chicago Sky on May 17 at 7 p.m. Prior to the game, the team will host a fan fest at 3 p.m., highlighted by music, prizes, guest appearances, a talent competition for local groups and basketball contests on the Liberty sport court.

The ladies return to Madison Square Garden following a three-year stint in Newark, NJ at the Prudential Center while The Garden underwent a historic $1 billion Transformation. The team will host 17 home games during the 2014 regular season and one preseason matchup.

The home schedule features matchups against title contenders Phoenix, Indiana and Atlanta as well as 2013 WNBA Champion Minnesota. The Liberty will play a five-game set, its longest home stand of the season, beginning with the Atlanta Dream on June 22, followed by matchups against the Chicago Sky (June 27), Connecticut Sun (June 29), Tulsa Shock (July 1) and Minnesota Lynx (July 6).

The Liberty will host several exciting theme nights at The Garden throughout the season, including Dad’s and Daughter’s Day presented by Kia (June 22), which will feature a special edition Cappie Pondexter bobblehead, Pride Night presented by Resorts World Casino New York City (June 27), Inspiring Women Night delivered by UPS (July 11), the annual Camp Day game (July 16) and Breast Health Awareness presented by Delta (July 29).

Head coach and General Manager Bill Laimbeer, who enters his second season with the club, will participate in a live fan chat on Wednesday, April 2 at 2 p.m. Laimbeer will answer fan questions in advance of the 2014 WNBA Draft and start of training camp. New York holds the fourth overall selection in this year’s draft.
