New York City FC resets quickly after League Cup Exit

It is going to be a return to MLS play after a spirited Leagues Cup 2026 final match against Club Necaxa.

There was a ton that went against the Boys in Blue in that match as they had the back againast the walls if they had wanted to continue on in the tournament.

To start and throughout the night it was all hustle and heart from the team as the pedal was to the medal with the offensive pressure completely on the Club Necaxa goalkeeper and seeing about what can be done about getting the requirements of scoring fufilled for the match.

The team got rewarded on a goal by Keaton Parks, but from there it was all Club Necaxa and now the reset.

Things are not only going to be reset, but it is going to be facing against a familair foe on Sunday as the guys face the Philadelphia Union.

In the 28 meetings NYCFC holds a 14 wins, 12 losses, and 2 draws record and this is going to be a great way for the guys to not think about anything that had happened with the Leagues Cup and get themselves back into the MLS play.
