In addition Nicolás also became the fourth player in the team’s history to score at least 10 goals within the first 20 regular season appearances.

There were also memorable moments by Agustín Ojeda and Talles Magno.

Magno inserted into the match in the later parts of the action, got the team some fresh legs and almost an instant goal in the 79′.

Things were a physical one between the Boys in Blue and FC Cincinnati, with both the team and the fans in the stand getting into all that unveiled on the pitch..

There were several calls that were looked at again through the VAR and even some that were reversed, but also some of those calls still standing as well.

When it comes time for the New York City FC club, the frustration so far between the Charlotte match and the match on Wednesday is the fact that these are the points the team can be getting and are vital to any type of a playoff run.

Head Coach Pascal Jansen shares these thoughts with the members of the media after the tie…video is compliments of New York City FC:

Also watching a team do splendid throughout the night, just to have to see a tie is a frustrating thing.

With the team now going on the road to take on Montreal and then participating in the US Open Cup against the rivals the Red Bulls, the intensity is going to be turned on very quickly for the guys.

Some cool facts and milestones compliments of the New York City FC PR Department include the fact that during the course of the match Hannes Wolf recorded an assist during the match, that was his 16th and that allows for him to surpass Jesús Medina (15) for eighth-most in Club history.

Maxi Moralez also had an assist in the game, and he now has seven contributions (1G, 7A) in nine matches.

The Brace for Mercau is the second of the season, with the first happening against the Colorado Rapids on March 14.

Nicolás is highly ranked in the MLS in goals, as he is second with his 8 total.

The month of April is going to be an intrugining one for the guys with back-to-back road matches and seeing how they fair in the U.S. Open Cup match against the Red Bulls.

First though is the road match against Montreal, while the guys have fared well at Stade Saputo, there was a match in 2025 where Montreal was able to gain a 1-0 victory.
