Things to work on for Red Bulls in Loss to New England

After seeing such quality and play that leads them to points the New York Red Bulls were left frustrated in the team’s 2-1 loss on the road to New England.

With things to work on prior to the next match at Sports Illustrated Stadium on April 5th. The guys for sure had themselves a chance to gain points on the road and were thwarted by errors and sloppy play.

There were some things that were optimistic, but the guys and Head Coach Sandro Schwarz showed true emotion as they were wanting to make sure the standards stayed the same and the guys continued to play to the quality that they are during the 2025 Season.

Scoring the goal for the Red Bulls was Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, as he tallied his second MLS goal of the season. Choupo-Moting was able to score his second MLS goal of the season, while also having a goal contribution in three-straight matches.

Setting up that goal was Peter Stroud, and for the midfielder that was his second MLS helper of the season to go along with the third of his MLS Career.

On the defensive side of the ball defenders Dylan Nealis and Sean Nealis got to move on up in the history books thanks to being a part of the match against New England.

Dylan making his 100th career appearance across all competitions for the Red Bulls, while Sean moved into second place in franchise history for most MLS minutes played by a defender. Sean was able to pass Aaron Long with 11,780.

In the goalkeeper spot the team saw Carlos Coronel make history in his 133rd career start with the Red Bulls, as he is tied for sixth place in franchise history.

The guys are going to head back to the preparation and training so they can get back to the form that gets them winning ways, as they get ready to host Chicago in MLS action on 4/5/25. The match between the two franchises is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
