New York Red Bulls head into match against Vancouver looking to gain Three Points

After two draws in a row and getting into the second place spot in the MLS standings the New York Red Bulls are going into Saturday, April 27 match against Vancouver looking for three points.

In the team’s last two matches against Chicago and Los Angeles the team were able to gain vital points and they were huge, especially going on the road and going up against one of the tough MLS squads in LAFC.

Scoring for the Red Bulls in the match against LAFC is team captain Emil Forsberg in the 81′ and thanks to that goal and his overall performance he was named MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 10.
The goal for Forsberg is the second of the season to go along with the first since Match 9 against FC Dallas.

Forsberg is gaining more and more confidence with his time with the squad as he has four goals thus far and that has him ranked third in the club. Thus far Emil has made seven appearances and in the last five matches has two goals and two assists.

When it comes time for the Red Bulls next meeting against Vancouver this is going to be a treat for MLS fans in New York, as this is the first since 2019 that these two franchises were able to play against the other at Red Bull Arena.

Leading the way in goals for the Whitecaps is Forward Brian White with his four goals, along with Midfielder Andres Cubas with his two assists.
