Fordham Plays well but falls to Davidson 79-69

In what was an action-packed night at Rose Hill Gym the Fordham University Men’s Basketball team (8-9, 2-2 Atlantic 10) fell to Davidson (11-6, 1-3 Atlantic 10) in NCAA Action on Wednesday night.

Thus far the Rams are having some impressive performances as they went on the road and defeated George Washington in triple overtime by a final of 119-113 and then went to St. Bonaventure to gain a 80-74 victory.

In what was the 18th contest between the Rams and Wildcats, as Davidson sees the All-Time series victories record go to a 15-3 record.

The Rams saw two players in double-figure scoring as Will Richardson and Elijah Gray had 16 and 12 points respectively.

As for Davidson they featured a bit of everything from outside shooting as well as inside as they had three players in double-figure scoring.

Leading the way for the Bobcats is Grant Huffman and Reed Bailey as they both had 24 points each and Connor Kochera recorded 18 points.

In a game that featured a tied score 11 times and the lead change six times, Rose Hill Gym was treated to another thriller between these two Atlantic 10 squads.

The Fordham University Men’s Basketball team is going to next be back in the Bronx on Saturday, January 20 as they take on Loyola Chicago in what is going to be Arthur Avenue Day.
