It was camp day at the Barclays center where fabs had the chance to experience Custom Xbox Barbie-inspired console prize packs for two lucky fans. A jumbotron Xbox challenge featuring Forza Horizon 5 and cars from the film.
A pre-recorded video for the Liberty and Camp Day attendees featuring movie stars Margot Robbie (Barbie) and Ryan Gosling (Ken), stars of the new movie, “Barbie.” There was also an appearance by the Ken Dance Squad bringing some Ken-energy with their moves to songs from the Barbie the Album soundtrack and Branding throughout the arena, including the Ticketmaster Plaza.
As for the action on the court the New York Liberty were defeated by the Dallas Wings 98-88. During the third quarter Dallas went on a 30-9 run from the 8:07 mark of the third to the 8:40 mark of the fourth quarter. Liberty still has one more game to play the wings in there three series matchups.
Coach Sandy Brondello stated, “They are a big team we just need to hold them. We need more discipline.”

“We played a really great team today they exploited us with their size on offense and length on defense, but it is a great test for us,” Brondello continued to say. “The more you play against those teams, we have to work out how we can beat them. “
Sabrina Ionescu coming off an incredible WNBA All- Star 3-point contest win, becoming the second fastest player in WNBA history finished with 22 points on 50% (7-14) shooting from the field, including 45.5% (5-11) from three, eight rebounds, and six assists.
Breanna Stewart WNBA All-Star Captain and champion totaled 25 points on 47.4% (9-19) shooting from the field, six rebounds, and two assists. Jonquel Jones finished with 11 points on 62.5% (5-8) shooting from the field, including 100% (1-1) from three, nine rebounds, an assist, and a block.
Betnijah Laney added 11 points on 41.7% (5-12) shooting from the floor, four rebounds, and two assists.
Up next for the New York Liberty the ladies head to Washington D.C. to take on the Washington Mystics on July 21, with the tip between the two teams scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
