Washington Mystics unable to combat the Fever in 82-76 loss

Playing in their original home of Capital One Arena The Washington mystics were defeated By the Indiana Fever 76-82 in their first game back from the WNBA All- Star break.

Natasha Cloud led the scoring with 19 points, five assists, and five rebounds to go along with a season-high three steals and one block in the contest.

Cloud made a bit of history in the game, as with her three steals she is on the way to Mystics Franchise history moving into Fifth Place. Her five assists places her 25th all-time in WNBA history in total assists with 1,134, passing Swin Cash (1,133).

“ We played a good first half, in the second half we still needed to figure some things out. Execution, Focus, understanding what plays we were going into. Frustration in this I don’t think we could be frustrated, we are missing four players right now and we are asking people to step up,” Natasha said after the game. “They are doing a phenomenal job. We just have to figure out our chemistry with new players defensive schemes and offensive schemes. Obviously this one hurts we want to win every game, protect the home court. “
