No raining on Cyclones parade as team Walks-Off against Aberdeen 4-3

It was one heck of a baseball game at Maimonides Park, as the Brooklyn Cyclones walked-off against the Aberdeen IronBirds by a final of 4-3 in 10 Innings of play.


This is the third walk-off victory for the Cyclones, who are starting to get into a bit of a groove when it comes time to playing in front of their home crowd.


The hero of the night is Omar De Los Santos, as he blasted the game-winning hit that sent the fans in Coney Island home happy.
Tons of storylines came out of this one that includes the Cyclones pitching and defense. One of the biggest moments came when reliever Daniel Juarez got out of a bases-loaded jam in the top of the 10th Inning.

Joe Suozzi is one of the other heroes for the team, as the first baseman made several key catches including grabbing an out in foul territory that sent the team to the bottom of the 10th.


Kevin Parada is starting to get more and more momentum with playing in front of the Cyclones faithful, as the catcher and one of the Mets Top Prospects hit a booming double and triple during the course of the night.


In addition to Parada, the Cyclones key contributions came from William Lugo and De Los Santos.


There were a ton of stellar pitching performances for the team, including that of starter Tyler Stuart, as he did a tremendous job in mixing up his pitches during the course of the night. The Righty tossed five innings while striking out nine batters.

Orioles Prospect Watch: The Baltimore Orioles have always been known to have a great eye when it comes time for talent, as they have always developed their biggest stars through the Minor League System. There are a ton of the future stars of the team in the Coney Island for the next few days. One of the top prospects in all of baseball currently in Jackson Holliday is with the IronBirds.

Jackson comes from a great baseball legacy as his father Matt is a seven-time All-Star. Thus far the infielder has impressed in his own way as in his MiLB career he has 43 hits, 26 RBI to go along with a .326 average and .489 OBP.

Cather Silas Ardoin as he is going to be making an impact in Charm City in the near future. Ardoin, is the son of former MLB player Danny Ardoin. Thus far Silas is making his own name in the Minor League as he is one of the best defensive catchers out there, as he has great hands and a great ability to frame and receive baseballs.

Infielder Frederick Bencosme is making a strong impression in his time in the Orioles Minor League season. Bencosme is an lefty with elite bat-to–ball skills and has been able to log 136 hits to go along with 53 RBIs and a .295 batting average thus far.

Fellow infielder Max Wagner is a feel-good story, as he went from defensive replacement to the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year. Wagner is known as a solid defender and has a great eye at the plate as thus far he works counts and draws walks.

Outfielder Dylan Beavers brings with him a polished bat and thus far is getting a reputation as being able to make great decisions at the plate. Thus far during the 2022 season he has compiled a line of .322/.438/.460 and has worked a ton of walks.

Jud Fabian is going to have a ton of offensive upside as he works his way up the Minor League System. The bat speed that he possesses is amazing to watch and he has great power from the right side of the plate.

Game Two between the Cyclones and IronBirds is set for 7:00 p.m. as Brooklyn sends righty Jeffrey Colon (0-0, 10.38 ERA) to the mound to take on Aberdeen righty Jean Pinto (0-1, 2.50 ERA).
