It has been a tough 2023 season for the Albany FireWolves (3-15) as they fell to the Buffalo Bandits (14-4) 16-10 in the National Lacrosse League regular season finale.
Leading the way on the offensive side for the FireWolves is Ethan Walker (two goals), Connor Kelly (four goals), Jerome Thompson, John Pitalli, Jake Fox and Corson Kealey.
In the cage Doug Jamieson finished the night with 21 saves, while Justin Geddie had 10.
Buffalo, meanwhile, had a ton of scoring, starting with Tehoka Nanticoke, Chris Cloutier (four goals), Adam Bomberry, Nick Weiss, Josh Byrne (three goals), Kyle Buchanan, Dhane Smith (two goals) and Chase Fraser (three goals).
Matt Vinc had himself a stellar night in the cage for the Bandits as he made 40 saves.
Up next for the FireWolves is trying to figure out what part of their roster they will bring back for the 2024 season and the strategies and players that can help elevate them and their brand to the next level.
