U.S. Men’s National Team sees Roster Changes for Allstate Continental Clásico

There has been a huge addition made for the USMNT roster as they prepare to take part in the Allstate Continental Clásico.


The squad added Paxton Pomykal, while Paul Arriola and midfielder Cristian Roldan have been withdrawn from the tournament.


Pomykal has seen time with the USMT prior, as he was able to make his first appearance with the squad on September 10, 2019, against Uruguay. In addition, the midfielder saw his first start on January 25, 2023, in the friendly against Serbia.


The USMNT is going to be playing in the 75th edition of the USA-Mexico rivalry on Wednesday, April 19 in Glendale, Arizona and fans can see all the action on the TBS Network.


Thus far the training camp roster features eight players from the USMNT’s run in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. There is a ton of talent on the squad that includes four rising stars that will be eligible for next summer’s Olympic Games.
