There has been a ton of positive momentum for the WWE as of late as they just had three amazing days in the Los Angeles Area.
Recently the company announced that WrestleMania 39 is the most successful and highest-grossing event in company history. The company who had a two-night event featuring all of the biggest stars withing their company was able to sell out SoFi Stadium in addition to setting records for viewership, gate, sponsorship, merchandise along with social media.
What was even more amazing for the company was the fact that Night 2 of WrestleMania was able to surpass the existing global viewership record by 33 percent, that was one day after the first Night, which was a memorable one for all involved.
In addition of things being memorable with Night 1, the ratings were through the roof as things surpassed the existing global viewership by 28 percent.
In terms of sales WrestleMania 39 did wonderfully, as they were able to break previous records by bringing in $21.6 million dollars.
Along with that the company, who always brings their best events to new and exciting areas, were able to announce recently that NXT Battleground is set to take place at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Mass on Sunday, May 28.
This will be the first time that an NXT Premium live event will take place in Massachusetts, in addition to the second time since February 2020 that a stand-along NXT premium live event has been able to take place outside the state of Florida.
Fans of NXT can expect to see all of their favorite superstars in action at NXT Battleground. That includes North American Champion Wes Lee, NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, New NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, Tiffany Stratton and more.
“We look forward to returning NXT to the road and delivering an incredible night of action to the passionate fans of Massachusetts and those watching at home,” said WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels.
