One of the things that fans anticipate the most when it comes time for the new baseball season are the promotional items that the franchise will give away during the course of the year.
The New York Mets announced their 2023 promotional schedule that will feature 23 giveaways, 12 theme nights along with the 2023 Hall of Fame Induction. The promotional schedule will start with the Opening Series against the Miami Marlins on Saturday April 8 with a Citi Field Replica.
After that fans will be looking forward to the exciting bobblehead series, that starts off with a Francisco Lindor grass growing bobblehead that is presented by Northwell happening on May 20. Other bobbles include a Howie Rose sound bobblehead that will be given away on May 31. Up next will be a Starling Marte Black Panther bobble that will be given away on June 26 and lots more.
Another promotional item that fans will be looking forward too are the four sports jersey nights that includes a Mets basketball jersey on Tuesday, July 18, a Mets Soccer Jersey on July 27 and a Mets Football jersey that will be given to the fans on August 9.
Fans will be also looking forward to getting a Handmade by Robots Knights Series Mr. Met presented by Bamba and a Kodai Senga glow-in-the-dark ghost fork ball to be handed out to fans on August 25.
One of the more anticipated nights of the year will be the Mets Hall of Fame ceremony, and this season will be no different as Howard Johnson, Al Leiter along with Gary Cohen and Howie Rose will all be induced. In addition, legendary public relations director Jay Horwitz will also be honored with the Mets Hall of Fame Achievement Award for his contributions.
It will be an exciting season at Citi Field as the 2023 season is almost underway.
