Looking to strike while the iron is hot, Richard Torrez Jr is ready for his next challenge on Saturday, March 25 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. Torrez, who has won the U.S. Olympic Silver medal, will be going up against Willie Jake Jr and that bout will help to open a tripleheader of boxing action.

Also set on that card will be Jose Ramirez and Richard “RC” Commey along with a title unification bout between WBA champion Seniesa Estrada and Tina Rupprecht.

Ramirez-Commey, Estrada-Rupprecht, and Torrez-Jake will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+ at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Tickets starting at $29 are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com.

Torrez Jr (5-0, 5 KOs) is no stranger to the Save Mart Center, as he was able to make his debut there. In addition, he is from the Tulare, California area. Torrez Jr has been able to thrill fans with a second-round stoppage over Allen Melson and since then has been able to have three additional knockouts in 2022.

Torrez said, “It was a dream come true to fight at Save Mart Center, and I can’t wait to do it again. I’m improving with every fight, and I want to thank Top Rank for keeping me busy and giving me the opportunity to fight at home in the Central Valley.”
