The New York Mets recently announced that the club will open the 2023 regular season on Thursday, March 30 at Miami. The Mets home opener will be Thursday, April 6 vs. the Marlins. For the first time in franchise history, the Mets will play every American League team at least once.

- Austin Riley and the Atlanta Braves, Friday, August 11-Sunday, August 13
- Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels, Friday, August 25-Sunday, August 27
- Julio Rodríguez and the Seattle Mariners, Friday, September 1-Sunday, September 3
- Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies, Friday, September 29-Sunday, October 1
