The Fordham University Rams continue the 2021-2022 Atlantic 10 season, Fordham’s 119th varsity season, by hosting the University of Rhode Island Rams in the historic Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday, February 2, at 7:00 p.m.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Mike Watts (play-by-play) and Andrew Bogusch (color) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and www.wfuvsports.org with Nick DeLuca (play-by-play) and Ryan Gregware (color) handling the announcing chores.
Fordham enters the game with a 9-10 overall record, 2-5 in the Atlantic 10, after a 64-55 conference loss at George Washington on Sunday afternoon, while Rhode Island enters the game with a 12-7 overall record, 3-4 in the conference, after a 53-51 Atlantic 10 loss at Dayton on Friday night.
Wednesday night’s contest will be the 70th meeting between Fordham and Rhode Island on the hardwood. Rhode Island leads the all-time series, 42-29, and have won the past two meetings, including a 52-42 victory last year.
