The 2021-2022 Fordham University Men’s Basketball Atlantic 10 schedule was released today. It features five televised Atlantic 10 contests among the Rams’ 18 conference contests.

For the eighth straight year, the Fordham men’s Atlantic 10 18-game schedule will consist nine home and nine away contests, with the Rams facing five opponents in a home-and-home series. First-year head coach Kyle Neptune’s squad will face Davidson, Duquesne, George Washington, La Salle, and Massachusetts twice during the 2021-2022 season.

The Rams will make five appearances on national television during the Atlantic 10 season, four on an NBC Universal platform and one on the CBS Sports Network.

In addition to the home games with Davidson, Duquesne, George Washington, La Salle, and Massachusetts, the Rams will host George Mason, Rhode Island, Richmond, and VCU in the historic Rose Hill Gym.

Besides the return trips to Davidson, Duquesne, George Washington, La Salle, and Massachusetts, Fordham will play Atlantic 10 Conference road contests at Dayton, St. Bonaventure, Saint Joseph’s, and Saint Louis in 2021-2022.

The 2021-22 Atlantic 10 Conference men’s basketball schedule will feature 76 nationally televised and digitally produced games on the league’s three media partners: ESPN, CBS Sports, and NBC Sports. The A-10 announced the conference schedule and TV selections for the upcoming season Thursday. Through its robust media agreements and all-encompassing streaming agreement with ESPN+, every home game for all 14 league members will be available on TV or digitally.

The 2021-22 conference schedule tips off on Thursday, Dec. 30 with seven games, including a nationally-televised contest featuring Dayton at Rhode Island on CBS Sports Network. Through the course of league play, there will be 55 televised games, seven televised non-conference games and three non-conference games on NBC digital as part of the A-10 package. Each of the league’s 14 teams will make at least four appearances on national TV. The league will televise every game the weekend of Friday, Jan. 14 through Monday, Jan. 17, including a special Martin Luther King Day doubleheader on CBS Sports Network.

For the 13th straight year, the Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship Final will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network and will also stream live on Paramount+ as a part of the network’s overall Selection Sunday coverage. In total, 11 games of the 2022 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship at Capital One Arena will be nationally broadcast with the opening round games on March 9 will stream live, exclusively on ESPN+. NBC Sports will carry the second round and the quarterfinals, March 10-12, and CBS Sports Network will air the semifinal games on March 13. The championship will be played in the nation’s capital for the second time in league history.

Last fall, the Atlantic 10 extended its long-standing agreements with all three media partners. This will mark the ninth year of the continuing agreements with ESPN, CBS Sports and NBC Sports. Atlantic 10 institutions reside in states that comprise 33.3 million television households, approximately 30 percent of the total national media market. There are nine A-10 institutions in or adjacent to the top 25 media markets in the country.

“It’s exciting to be announcing a full master schedule for this season, given the challenges we faced last year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. I sincerely want to take this opportunity to thank all of our media partners for their tremendous support and the schedule they all will be broadcasting for the upcoming A-10 season,” stated Atlantic 10 Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade.
