Two all-time greats of the Hofstra Men’s Basketball program will get the opportunity to impress NBA teams this summer as Justin Wright-Foreman (’19) and Eli Pemberton (’20) have both been added to rosters for NBA teams this summer.
Wright-Foreman will be a member of the Washington Wizards team that will compete in the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League 2021 in Las Vegas.
Pemberton is playing with the Golden State Warriors team that is starting with a pair of games in the California Classic in Sacramento before a five-game slate at the MGM Resorts Summer League.
Wright-Foreman is second all-time at Hofstra with 2,327 career points and second in program history with 277 three-pointers. The CAA Player of the Year in 2017-18 and 2018-19, Wright-Foreman also earned Associated Press All-American honors twice in his career and was an All-CAA performer three times. He earned his degree in rhetorical studies with a minor in linguistics from Hofstra in 2019.
Pemberton ranks ninth all-time at Hofstra with 1,982 career points and fourth with 215 three-pointers. A two-time All-CAA honoree, Pemberton also earned NABC All-District and All-Met honors as a senior and All-Met accolades as a junior as well. He earned his degree in management from Hofstra in 2020.
