Brooklyn Cyclones looking to regain winning ways heading into June

The month of May did not end the way the Brooklyn Cyclones (7-14) were hoping for it too. The team just wrapped up a long road stretch against the Aberdeen IronBirds, which saw either rain delays and or tough results for the team.

Thankfully with the new month starts a new page for the team, who will look to regain their winning ways with a long road stretch against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws starting on Tuesday.

The Cyclones started the series against Aberdeen on Tuesday with an 8-1 loss, prior to the game between the two teams on Wednesday being postponed.

Brooklyn and Aberdeen played two on Thursday with the team seeing a 6-2 loss and a 10-1 loss, before things were postponed on Friday. In the game on Saturday the team saw a 4-1 loss, then the team saw more rain and another postponement for the game on Sunday.

Some of the bats that impressed during the game against the IronBirds included Brett Baty, Zach Ashford, and Luke Ritter.

Brooklyn will enjoy a day off before taking on the BlueClaws on Tuesday. Currently the Cyclones have not announced their starting pitcher for the first game against Jersey Shore, while Josh Hendrickson (0-0, 1.98 ERA) will take the mound for the BlueClaws.
