As part of the team’s 25th anniversary season, the New York Liberty have named Jess Sims the official In-Arena Co-Host. The New York-based educator, fitness professional and Peloton Instructor will join co-host Jason Negron during select Liberty home games at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

“This is a historic season for the New York Liberty and we will continue to offer our fans world-class entertainment and in-arena experiences,” said Liberty’s Chief Executive Officer, Keia Clarke. “Jess Sims is a natural fit and embodies the energy, basketball IQ and personability it takes to elevate our entertainment experience in Brooklyn. We are fortunate to have her on the team this season and look forward to working with her both on and off the court.”

“Basketball is my absolute favorite sport and I am so grateful to the Liberty for this opportunity to channel my love for the game to connect with fans and celebrate the incredible athletes on the floor,” said Sims. “Basketball has played such a pivotal role in my life, from connecting me to my father to teaching me life skills like discipline, hard work and the importance of being part of a team. I am incredibly excited to be part of the Liberty organization.”

Sims, a native of Peabody, Mass., has been a Peloton Instructor since 2018 and teaches a wide range of workouts to Peloton’s global community of more than 5.4 million Members. Prior to joining Peloton, Jess served as a full-time educator in roles as a Teacher, Operations Director, Assistant Principal and ultimately, Principal at Harlem Village Academies.
