Buffalo Sabres look to regain Winning ways against Bruins on Thursday

The Buffalo Sabres have had some great play on the ice, but sadly they have not had the results that they were hoping for. The team had two heartbreaking games against the New York Rangers recently seeing scores of 6-3 and 3-1 in the team’s most recent game on Wednesday.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen was able to make 38 saves in the cage for the sabers in his second start of his career. Luukkonen played well in the cage for the Sabres against the Rangers in the always tough venue Madison Square Garden.

Scoring the one goal for the Sabres was Sam Reinhardt, who leads the team with 22 overall during the season. For Reinhart that was his 14th goal of the season, which is tied for the most by all players in the 2020-21 season.

Buffalo was able to out-shoot the rangers 16-6 in the first 20 minutes of play. The Blueshirts got a stellar goalkeeping performance by Igor Shesterkin, who did an outstanding job of keeping the Sabres offense off the scoreboard for the most part.

The Sabres will continue their road trip, as the team is in Boston to take on the Bruins at TD Garden, as the team looks to end the month of April and start the month of May on a winning note. The game between the Sabres and Bruins is set for 7:00 pm.
