Lots Happening for Capitals as team prepares for Homestand

The Washington Capitals is on an ultimate high, as the team skated away with an 8-1 victory over the Boston Bruins on Sunday.

Most recently it was announced by the team has announced a limited seating capacity for the remaining regular-season home games at Capital One Arena starting with the game against the Islanders on the 27th of the Month.

In addition, the team were able to add some key additions to the team, as they traded forwards Jakub Vrana and Richard Panik to the Detroit Red Wings along with their first-round pick of the 2021 NHL Draft and their second-round choice in the 2022 in exchange for Anthony Mantha.

Shortly after that the team also shipped the Vegas fifth-round pick in 2021 to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Michael Raffl.

Thanks to these additions the team has been able to bolster the second left and their depth in the forward position.

Up next the team will be playing host to the Philadelphia Flyers in a game that is going to be played on Tuesday. With the face-off set for 7:00 p.m. Fans interested in watching the game can do so on the NBC network.
