Washington Spirit Star Andi Sullivan Added to U.S. Women’s National Team Roster for Matches Against Sweden and France

Washington Spirit Midfielder Andi Sullivan has been added to the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team roster for the two upcoming matches in Europe during the April FIFA international window.

The USA will face Sweden on April 10 (FOX at 1 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. local) at Friends Arena in Stockholm and then will play France on April 13 at Stade Océane in Le Havre (ESPN2 at 3 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. local).

The 25-year-old Sullivan, who is the team captain for the Washington Spirit in the NWSL, has been hampered by injuries of late but has 16 career caps for the USA. She most recently appeared for the USWNT at the start of 2020 during the Concacaf Olympic Women’s Qualifying Championship, but was a part of the USA’s 2021 January Training camp in Orlando, Fla.

The USA will now bring a travel roster of 24 players and U.S. Head Coach Vlatko Andonovski will suit up 18 for each of the two matches.
