The Baltimore Orioles announced that the club has entered into a multi-year agreement with MedStar Health as the Official Medical Team of the Orioles. The team has chosen to continue their medical partnership with MedStar Health because of the expertise and specialization provided by one of the premier sports medicine programs in the country. The multi-year partnership will ensure that Orioles players continue to receive the highly specialized care of the MedStar Health team while the two organizations continue their off-the-field relationship serving communities and families across Birdland.

As part of the partnership, the Orioles and MedStar Health will combine their efforts to celebrate National Nurses Week from Thursday, May 6 to Wednesday, May 12. The week-long event is one of many ways in which the Orioles and MedStar Health will show their appreciation for the extraordinary healthcare heroes who have worked tirelessly throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to keep the community healthy and safe.
The Orioles and MedStar Health will also continue to welcome the club’s youngest fans to Birdland with the Baby Birds program. Launched in 2019, the membership includes an Orioles bib and onesie for the newest generation of O’s fans. Parents of babies born at MedStar Harbor Hospital and MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center will enjoy complimentary enrollment in the program and will receive an exclusive Baby Birds beanie.
