Washington Capitals skate to 4-3 OT victory over Bruins

The Washington Capitals skated to a 4-3 overtime victory over the Boston Bruins in NHL action on Saturday.

Leading the way on the offensive side for the Capitals was Nicklas Backstrom, Trevor van Riemsdyk, Richard Panik and netting the OT winner was Alex Ovechkin.

As for the Bruins they were led by Nick Ritchie, Brad Marchand, and Charlie McAvoy.

This game featured two of the NHL’s top teams and the play on the skate echoed that statement, as both teams played a thrilling brand of hockey.

These two teams will have a day off before facing off again on Monday for a game that is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
