Fordham Women’s Basketball set to take on Davidson on Sunday

The Fordham University Women’s Basketball team (8-3, 5-2) are looking to continue a successful month with a game on Sunday at Davidson (6-6, 3-3). The tip-off between these two teams is set for 12:00 p.m.

In the last game for the Rams, the team was able to connect for 13 three-pointers, which is tied for third-most in a single game in program history. Fordham was able to lead for the entire game in a 19-point win over St. Bonaventure

Fordham is hoping to redeem themselves after a 15-point loss to Davidson at Rose Hill Gym in a contest that happened earlier this year. Fordham will look to shore up their defensive play and shut down a very good Wildcats offensive team.

The Rams have been doing very well with their rebounding game this season, as the team has averaged 39.8 per contest and holds the 14th highest rebounding margin in the country, holding their opponents to just 28.8 boards. Fordham have been able to grab 140 rebounds on the offensive glass, and have five players with at least 13 offensive boards.

In addition to a strong rebounding game, Fordham has been able to outscore their opponents 65.5-50.9 in the eight wins that they have able to pick up thus far this season. The Rams have been able to shoot 43.1 from the floor as a group and 41.8% from behind the arc.
