The Hofstra Men’s Basketball team will conclude its three-game non-conference home stand at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex on Wednesday when it hosts Stony Brook at 7 p.m. in The Long Island Rivalry.
The game will air on FloHoops and WRHU (88.7 FM) will provide an audio-only broadcast available on Pride Productions and WRHU.org. All links can be found at the top of this release and on the Hofstra men’s basketball schedule page on GoHofstra.com.
Hofstra heads into the game with a 1-2 mark with a win over Fairleigh Dickinson and losses to #24 Rutgers and Iona. The Pride dropped an 82-74 decision to the Gaels on Saturday despite a career-high 28 points from Tareq Coburn.
Stony Brook enters Wednesday’s tilt with a similar 1-2 mark after falling to St. John’s, 89-66, on Sunday.
Hofstra holds a commanding 23-5 lead in the all-time series with Stony Brook, including a 71-64 victory out east last season. The Pride has won three straight overall in the series and three straight at the Mack Sports Complex.
