Florida Dominates Providence 83-51

For Florida it was a dominate performance in the team’s 83-51 victory over Providence in the second of three games for the Air Force Reserve Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational.

Leading the way for the Gators was Keyontae Johnson, who had 19 points and 10 boards leading four players into double-figure scoring. Sophomore Noah Locke followed with 11 points and a pair of first year players in Tre Mann and Ques Glover contributed for Florida by coming off the bench to combine for 23 points.

The Gators had themselves a tremendous night overall shooting as they connected for 51 percent from the field, from three point range the team was able to connect eight of 18.  Florida has been able to win five of their last six games and this victory was one of their most convincing all-around performances of the season.

Providence had two players in double figure scoring as Alpha Diallo had 20 points and Nate Watson had 18 points.
