Matsui 55 Baseball Foundation Cinic Providing Hope for New York City Kids Teaching Passion, Precision and Pride

New York Yankees Great Hideki Matsui wanted an opportunity to teach the future of Major League Baseball the fundamentals of what made him a great not only in Japan, but in the United States. So after his amazing Major League Career is over he decided to start up the Matsui 55 Foundation.

Thanks to the Matsui 55 Foundation, Hideki has been able to provide hope and showing the future of Major League Baseball how to play the game properly. On a beautiful day at Richmond County Bank Ballpark home of the Staten Island Yankees. There were about 35-40 children from the Metropolitan Area getting to learn how to play the game of baseball with the same passion, precision and pride that he was able to bring not only to the Tokyo Dome and also to Yankee Stadium.

So far Hideki has been able to make a tremendous impact with his foundation, which started in April 2015, the Matsui 55 Baseball Foundation has hosted baseball clinics for children in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, San Francisco and Japan. 

Fans can expect to see more of the Matsui 55 Foundation, and these young men are hopefuls to make the Major League Baseball Opening Day roster in the future.
