In what was an electric atmosphere at MetLife Stadium, both the Mexican and the Ireland National soccer team put on one heck of a showing in an international friendly.
It was Mexico that was able to earn a 3-1 victory on June 1, as goals from Jesus Corona, Raul Jimenez and Carlos Vela that was able to secure the positive result.
Both teams had an opportunity to play in front of 42,017 fans, who provided a massive amount of energy throughout the night.
The Irish side showed their fighting spirit throughout the match, showing some brilliant ball movement and aggressive shooting. It was in the Second Half the National Team was rewarded with a goal by Stephen Gleeson.
