In our Events to Check Out Spotlight features an event for all of our soccer (or football) fans.

Argentina and Ecuador will square off in an international friendly, on Tuesday, March 31 in what is sure to be an action-packed match at MetLife Stadium.

MetLife Stadium has hosted international soccer each year since opening in 2010, including Argentina vs. Brazil on June 8, 2012, the highest attended soccer match in New Jersey history, with 81,994 fans in attendance.  On August 4, 2013, four of the top European clubs (Valencia CF, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Chelsea FC) took part in the 2013 International Champions Cup.

These two teams are extremely familiar with one another as they last played on November 15, 2013, which was a 0-0 draw. Both teams are  currently preparing for this summer’s Copa America, the South American championship, which will take place in Chile in June.

Both Argentina and Ecuador are expected to have some key players in place. Amongst the confirmed players for Argentina is Barca’s star, Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero. As for Ecuador has called upon Enner Valencia and Antonio Valencia to lead the team.

1495 Sports was able to attend the training session that the Ecuador National Football team had prior to the match and is proud to present the following video for our Spanish speaking audiences:
