Argentina Wins Thriller over Ecuador at MetLife Stadium

The National Teams from Argentina and Ecuador  played in thriller in front of 48,000 strong on Tuesday Night.

The fans at MetLife Stadium rocked throughout this International Friendly. On this night though  it was Argentina earning the victory by a final of 2-1.

Sergio Aguero opened up the scoring for Argentina in the Eighth Minute via heading a corner opportunity from Angel Di Maria from the left side of the field.

Ecuador tied things up as Miller Bolanos finished off a great opportunity for Ecuador in the 24th minute, finishing off a pass from Walter Ayovi from the left wing.

Javier Pastore recorded the game-winner for Argentina in the in the 58th minute after a pass from Lucas Biglia.

In a game that saw a bunch of action and even saw a mix of snow and rain in the beginning of the session, the one thing that wasn’t seen was Argentina Star Lionel Messi, who watched from the stands at the Meadowlands. He also sat on the bench in the 2-0 victory against El Salvador in Landover, Maryland.

In the end though the spirits of those in attendance was not damped, as the energy was electric from the beginning to the end of the night.
