The Cardiac Cosmos continue to give fans and supporters thrilling victories, the latest in the NASL Championship Semifinals a 2-1 decision over Rayo OKC.

This victory sets up a meeting in The Championship Final with Indy Eleven, who prevailed 1-0 over FC Edmonton in the other semifinal. The Cosmos will host the match at Belson Stadium on the campus of St. John’s University next Sunday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. ET.

Rayo OKC netted the first goal in the match in the First Half, as Futty Danso connected on a free-kick in the 37th minute to give the visiting side momentum before the end of the frame.

As the Cosmos came out to the pitch for the Second Half, the team found energy and scoring from Juan Arango in the 73rd minute.

Magic was found seconds from stoppage time, as Yohandry Orozco was able to net the game-winner for the New York Cosmos.

Now the Cosmos will prepare for their second straight Championship Final, looking to become the first back-to-back champions of the NASL Modern Era.
