Decision Day was a thriller all around Major League Soccer, and that included the action at Yankee Stadium as New York City FC earned a 4-1 victory over the Columbus Crew.

The win in the regular season finale clinched second place in the Eastern Conference for NYCFC, which has a bye into the two-legged Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Steven Mendoza, Jack Harrison, Khiry Shelton and David Villa all led the way on the offensive side for New York City FC, while Keeper Eirik Johansen had a stellar game in the cage.

NYCFC ends the regular season on an eight-match home unbeaten streak. Thanks to being the Second Seed the boys in blue have earned a bye into the Eastern Conference Semifinals, which begin next Sunday at a location to be determined.
