The crowd got to see the first full appearance in a Cyclones Uniform by the Mets 2015 Fourth Round Draft Pick David Thompson. The Miami, Florida-native hit in the Fourth Spot of the line-up, while playing a very solid Third Base for Brooklyn.

Thompson also delivered his first hit and RBI in a Cyclones uniform in the bottom of the Fourth Inning. It was in that frame that David, who is a product of the University of Miami baseball team, was able to bring home Michael Bernal, who singled and advanced to second on a balk.

It was also in that frame that Michael Katz launched a two-run homer over the left field wall that gave Brooklyn the 4-1 lead.
