The Fordham University men’s basketball Rams continue their 2014-15 regular season, the 112thvarsity season on Rose Hill, on Sunday night, December 28, when they host the Howard University Bison at 6:00 p.m. in the historic Rose Hill Gym.  The game will be televised live on SportsNet NY (SNY) and broadcast on WFUV (90.7 FM) and www.wfuv.org as well as streamed live on www.fordhamsports.com.

Fordham enters the game with a 3-6 record following a 71-57 loss to Manhattan at the Barclays Center on December 22. Howard enters the game with a 7-7 record after a 73-60 victory at South Alabama on December 23.

Impressive Performances so far:

The Rams have seen some impressive play from Eric Paschall and Ryan Rhoomes, as Paschall ranks among the stellar performers in the Atlantic 10 Conference, while Rhoomes ranks in a couple of NCAA Statistical Categories.

Paschall has had himself a 30-Point performance and Two 20-Point performances, while Rhoomes has a 10-Rebound performance along with being ranked 14 in the NCAA in Rebounds-Per-Game (10.3) and 7th in Offensive Rebounds-Per-Game (4.56)

Christian Sengfelder had his second double figure rebounding game in the game versus Manhattan as the Freshman recorded 10. Sengfelder also had 11 in the Overtime victory over Monmouth. Antwoine Anderson has been able to provide speed and a pretty sweet shot to the Fordham Offense, as the Guard has been able to record 8.6 points-per-game, to go along with 3.7 assist-per-game and 10 steals.

Sunday night’s contest will be the second meeting between Fordham and Howard on the hardwood. The Rams won the first match-up, 79-60, in the Rose Hill Gym on December 14, 2013, as Ryan Rhoomes scored 19 points and grabbed eleven rebounds while Branden Frazier and Mandell Thomas each added 15 points.
