At a press conference on June 26 the Brooklyn Nets unveiled their plans to build a new state-of the-art training center in Brooklyn, featuring panoramic views for the New York Harbor to serve as the team’s training facilities starting in the 2015-15 season.
As the Nets will move from the current practice site in East Rutherford, NJ to Brooklyn, and now providing more than 60 full-time jobs to the area.
The Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) will be the naming rights partner for the facility, which will be known as the Hospital for Special Surgery Training Center. Located in Sunset Park in Brooklyn NY in a historic waterfront warehouse in Industry City, the facilities will have everything an athlete will need to be the best they can on the court-while also being a stones throw away from the Barclays Center (home of the Brooklyn Nets)
